I am passionate about education and lifelong learning, and I’m delighted to serve as a Governor at Pocklington Junior School, supporting its continued success and excellent reputation. I firmly believe that every child deserves the highest quality education and the opportunity to grow into the best version of themselves.
As a current primary school teacher with experience across Key Stage 2, Key Stage 1, and the Early Years Foundation Stage, my entire career has been rooted in education. I have a deep love for teaching and learning, and I’m committed to continually developing my skills to be the best I can be. I find great joy in working with children—watching them grow, flourish, and approach each day as a new opportunity to learn.
I’m proud to be part of the Pocklington community, where I live with my family. Beyond education, I’m actively involved in local life through the cricket club and the allotments. In my spare time, I enjoy keeping fit, playing and watching sports, cooking, and spending quality time with my loved ones. Being a governor allows me to share my experience, contribute ideas, and support everyone at PJS as we work together to build an environment where every child can thrive.
