Friends of the School

We do not currently have a Friends of the School Committee. We would love to hear from you if you and some of your parent friends wish to volunteer and get this off the ground for us. Our school would love to offer more parent and community events to help raise money towards projects.

A Friends Committee plays an important role in supporting the school through fundraising and community events. The funds raised would help provide extra resources and experiences that benefit our pupils. All parents, carers and members of the school community are welcome to get involved and help make a difference by working together to raise money for the school.

There are may ways to get involved, whether you can help regularly or just occasionally, new members and volunteers are always welcome. Join us and be part of making a positive difference for our children.

What do Friends do?

Organise and run exciting and entertaining fundraising events throughout the school year.

The funds raised would go towards extra equipment and resources for the school; these have included contributing to a whole school pantomime, new kitchen equipment, extra musical instruments for music lessons, PE equipment and reading books.

Why get involved?

A Friends Committee depends on parent/carer involvement. It is a great way to feel more involved with the school and to share your skills and experience to benefit the school, whether it be skills in event planning, marketing or design to face painting or baking or more.
