I moved to Pocklington with my husband and two children in early 2025, to be closer to family.
Both my children attend Pocklington Junior School, and joining the Governance team felt like an obvious choice as I have spent almost a decade working in local council governance. I hope that my professional experience in governance and supporting effective decision-making will be useful to the continued achievements of PJS.
I became a school governor because I hope to support the school, its community, and help ensure the school continues to be a positive place for pupils to learn and thrive.
