I am honoured to introduce myself as a school governor at Pocklington Junior School, a role I hold by virtue of my position as Headteacher. With over 19 years of experience working across two local authorities and in five different schools, I bring a wealth of knowledge and expertise to this role.
Throughout my career, I have developed a deep passion for using the skills I have acquired to support those around me in their journey towards becoming the very best versions of themselves. Pocklington Junior School holds a special place in my heart, and I take immense pride in our dedicated staff and the incredible potential of our children.
As a part of the local governing committee, our primary goal is to ensure that every child at our school receives the support they need to unlock their full potential. Together, we are committed to fostering a nurturing and empowering educational environment that allows our students to thrive.
